International Biometric Group "IBG" is looking for an experienced Health IT Communication Specialist for our rapidly growing and well established consulting and Government contracting business.
Responsibilities
- Perform analyses of health IT system documentation, including web portal design
- Provide improvement recommendations for Health Information web portal workflow
- Provide support in analyzing health care IT for addition to or integration with existing projects
- Assist project team and client with capturing, editing, and distributing meeting notes
- Produces, reviews, and edits project documentation, including technical designs, briefing memos, and presentations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Mastery of the English language
- Ability to comprehend and capture information discussed in meetings and workgroup sessions
- Enthusiasm for a dynamic work environment
- Bachelor's Degree (will consider extensive work experience in web design techniques as substitute for degree)
- Positive, can do attitude desirable
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience in a communications role
Additional Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience with Health Care IT
- Experience with effective design techniques for web applications
- Experience with interface usability guidelines and compliance with the American's with Disabilities Act
- Skill as an editor (fix typos and improve writing style) for internal and external documentation and communications
- Experience with "rollover help", "balloon comments" and other online documentation techniques
- Experience with crafting informational messages for an economically disadvantaged population
