International Biometric Group seeks an experienced Attorney / Legal Counsel with outstanding academic credentials and an excellent professional reputation in government contracting law. This full time position requires significant expertise and experience in the areas of federal contracting, risk-management compliance, FAR, RFP’s, contract negotiation and legal documents drafting.

Working with Dept of Defense, Dept of Justice, Dept of Homeland Security, international agencies and dozens of Fortune 500companies, IBG provides services in the areas of counterterrorism, border security, online fraud, and access control.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating corporate federal contract and compliance issues including but not limited to Teaming Agreements, Prime Contracts, Subcontracts, and Non-disclosure Agreements. The candidate should also be in an expert in proposal pricing, HR matters, IP and handling other business or litigation matters uniquely affecting government contractors. The Senior legal counsel will be responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating a broad range of programmatic and administrative legal government contracts to support the company mission in a professional manner.

- 10 years experience with USG contracting.
- Solid experience in RFP’s, FARs, and proposal pricing issues
- Must be an expert in CAS compliance
- Must be diplomatic, and creative with outstanding contract negotiation skills
- Must be confident, with strong interpersonal skills, and must have the capacity to develop productive relationships at all levels, establish trust and provide thoughtful counsel.
- Must have a law degree
- Ability to review and draft legal contact documents (TA’s, Subk, Prime K’s, NDA’s, Intellectual Property, Protest , HR, etc.)
- Licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia, Virginia or NY.
- Familiarity with OCONUS issues
- Expertise in rate build ups (cost plus contracts)
- Familiarity with patents
- Understanding of software licensing issues
