State & Local Government
State and local government agencies represent a unique environment for consulting services and technology solutions. Solutions to state and local problems must take into account local policies and procedures, yet remain compliant with Federal legislation and regulations without exhausting constrained state and local resources.
IBG understands the constraints and challenges that state and local agencies face, having provided services and solutions to all levels of government from local county agencies to international organizations. Through hands-on work, IBG stays up-to-date on changes in policy, legislation and regulations at the local, state/provincial, Federal and internal levels, allowing it to provide its clients with timely recommendations and standards-compliant solutions. No matter how small the client agency, IBG will make sure that stakeholder needs are addressed for successful and timely delivery.
Approach
By applying lessons-learned from one jurisdiction to another, for example, from state to state, or transferring knowledge and technology from the Federal level to the local level, IBG provides breadth and depth to its problem solving ability. IBG's approach to providing services and solutions takes into account regional differences in demographics and socio-economic factors that may affect the usability, cost, benefits, and outcomes. IBG defines project governance structures that ensure that stakeholders remain engaged throughout project implmentation phases, and training and education to ensure that affected populations are informed and can provide timely feedback.
