IBG Awarded DHS Research Grant for Synthetic Biometrics

IBG is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I research grant. IBG will conduct research into creation of synthetic biometric images such as fingerprints, face images, and iris images. IBG's research effort, "Differential Synthetic Biometric Sample and Template Generation", is expected to advance the state of the art of synthetic biometric image creation for use by DHS and other US Government elements.

Commercial applications for synthetic biometric image creation software include licensing to vendors, systems integrators, and algorithms developers involved in large-scale biometric system design, development, and implementation.
